Wichita, Kan. As announced by the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference, McPherson College's Rea Samuels of the track and field team has been named Week 1 KCAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week. Samuels was selected from a pool of nominees by vote of conference Sports Information Directors for her performance at the Ward Haylett Invitational on January 11, 2014.
