The McPherson College Cross Country Teams competed at the University of Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival and brought home 14 Best Times, and again hit the record books. Ellyce Mares led the women with a 4th all-time best performance finishing 40th in a time of 19:29 for 5000 Meters. Following her was a #14 all-time race by Georgia Hitchcock (109th 20:37). Rounding out the scoring was Samantha Thompson (134th 21:14), Brooke Krapes (157th 21:55), and Abriana Phipps (159th 21:56). The women finished 22nd out of 42 competing teams. Their Team time of 1:45:13 was the 3rd fastest in school history and the fastest since 2013.
